Hari Usahawan~

"June 27th 2009, PESS held their not-so anual school festivities a.k.a Hari Usahawan~!! So journalist-in-training Chelsea C. and Carmen Y. set out to the scene to report the event..."

...Anyway we had a blast~!! Unfortunately our school events are closed to public...(i think~ I mean some teacher say you can invite friends but some say otherwise)

The fun starts at 9.30am. Students who were in-charge or 'jaga' the stalls (READ slaves) were busy with preparations... *rush rush rush*

"Hurry...people are coming soon~!!"

Whilist rest who were not-so-busy were bored...

Bluetooth-ing...

And of course, cam-whoring~!! XD

Around 9.00am, we 'escaped' to get 'exclusive' footage...And also to try out games and food before people came~~ ^^ Basically the stalls comprise of...

food...
food...

And more food... "Yum" (Be jealous~)

Done browsing through, we decide to go to this pretty-looking cafe. And of course the maids/waiteresses greeted us with the customary "Irashaimase..." (Welcome)

Menu...*Spoilt for choices

This cafe seems to be a favourite among teachers too...

Services were so-so. I ordered Kappa Tamago Maki (Cucumber Egg rolls) *bad choice* & Tuna Onigiri (Tuna riceballs)
The onigiri was quite well made compared to last year's 'mishap' ( The riceball disintergrate the moment I touched it~).

The problem is their 'superb' rolls. This here is Kappa Tamago Maki minus the cucumber (they forgotten it~*sigh* kelam kabut~)

And this here displays what happen when you try to eat it. The seaweed is damn strechy~~ I almost choked trying to swallow it whole (coz you cannot bite it

After that GAMES~!! One of my favourite games was where you had to dip your hand into ice-water to look for coins. For my first try I was told to search for 13 cent. Damn hard lerh~~ Your hands would be soo cold that you can't feel it. I was unsuccessful at games~~*sigh*

However the day is not all games and food as we were cast for a drama/sketch. Its has a futuristic/love theme. (I'm playing the bad guy here~) I was a little worried as we didn't do a full rehearsal. But things turned out quite well =D
The cast of 'Love Actually'

After that we went to a "disco"~~ And we learned that our school students didn't know how to party XD They just sat around DJ watching *sigh*

Towards the end, we decide to take a detour to the neighbouring primary school. I was given a tour actually. And There I took this interesting shot.

"Signing of...This is Chelsea C. ...The Star...Malaysia" (I'd always wanted to end a post like that). There I did a good job to report the occasion right?

Tribute~~

I'm blogging this while watching Michael Jackson's tribute on 8tv~I really don't know much about him but watching clips of his past concerts was "WOW~!!"...Fans are fainting before the performance even began. XD

Though I wonder where does he get the stamina do do his stunys, amazing super dance moves~!! (Energizer battery anyone~?) Every step he makes seems effortless~~

At last the final song came, 'We Are the World' & 'Heal the World' my favourite btw. Of all songs these are the most beautiful~ Meaningful and sad

"There are people dying, If you care enough for the living, make a better place for you and for me..."

Okay enough of my babbling for now =D

May he rest in peace~~You are forever a legend

My Paranoia~~

Fear~~Everyone has it--It dosen't matter what kind.

What I fear is that I would offend or hurt someone without knowing...or realised it only after those words are spoken... when its already too late.

It was then I learned that Sorry is no Cure.

Sometimes it keeps replaying in my head that stupid moment when I had to utter those words that could have ended a friendship or change people's preception of me.

I'm not perfect and I cannot change overnight. But I believe in myself~~So I will try my best~

I hope that in the future, if I ever hurt anyone, or if they thought that I needed reality check...they would be kind enough to tell be as so it does not happen again.

AFS Interview~~

A few days ago, my friends and I had an AFS Interview for a student exchange program.
It was our second try for a few of us and the first time for some. =D

Basically they would ask questions about yourself, why did you apply, etc. I still remember that last year, the moment I came out I knew 100% that I wouldn't get it. Its that feeling when you just know because I talked crap there. (I hope I did better this time though)

Anyway since this years interview is held at my school I wondered if our male guest found the toilet alright. As it is an all-girls school, of course our toilets are 99.9% for us girls (we've got a separate block for our toilets)

And the Gents is a single obscure cubicle at side so as you can imagine it is VERY well hidden. (don't ask me why, It was just build like that)

So I think that they've got a hard time looking for it

Oh well. Back to the interview, I hope that this time we would be successful
Not just me but to my friends too.

Good Luck~!!

BRATs Ipoh~~

BRATs ended not so long ago *sigh* And I miss it alot. It was really fun...the senior brats, our facilitators and not to forget Team Banana~!! Hyper, Crazy, Energetic...most of the time.(BRATs made me a camholic~~ Admit it BRATs your GUILTY =P)

Rachel and Radhika~~^^ Miss ya

These two people are the greatest roommates you could ever get~!! You wouldn't believe it but on the first day I 'lost' my roommates =P After having lunch I realised that I couldn't remember how my roomies look like. Embarassing...yes. I kept interogating Michelle and Carmen if they knew who was my roommates

I've only vaguely remembered their names. So, I walked everywhere asking random BRATs if they were my roomies. I've finally found them in the Ladies~!! I actually stopped someone midway and asked if they were my roommates and before she could answer, Rachel appeared and saved me~!! (I found Radhika later~~Thank god)
That was only a few hours after I arrived at Heritage~!! BTW Stanley I have great shots of you. ^^

MUAHAHA~XD
On the first day we had to interview Bittersweet some local indie band I've never heard of. XD Though this 'rock band' does not seem like one to me. (Voices too low, Mic thrown around and not used, Never getting to the point when answering questions~~)
Bittersweet and us BRATs posing after the interview =D

Most of all, the street poll is my fav assignment. We ran around Ipoh Parade ambushing, terrorizing and kidnapping poor innocent people who were only minding their own buisness. Alot of messy-ness. But still it was a job quite well done =P

Team Banana posin'
Anyway the nightmares was when we began editing. We had to listen to the intro "This is Mark Chan" a billion zillion times until that phrase was practically engraved into my memories for life~!!

BTW the one with the videocam is Michelle. "Be the tripod"... very zen XD

Poor Guy~~Our first victim. We literally pounced and cornered him the moment we spotted him (Over eager BRATs on their first street assignment. And we didn't even gave him donation after the "interview"~~)

Oh and did I mention about the food? 5 meals daily (breakfast, tea, lunch, tea and dinner + snacks XD) It was like heaven here. Apparently the motto there was that you'll never starve at BRATs.=D (*hint*be jealous*hint*)
The next day we went to a rebana/kompang making workshop. Things were cool. I never learned so much about making a kompang.

The founder was this guy. Somehow at some point the conversation diverts so his life-story, about peribahasa (he was trying to teach us XD) etc.

When we were dropped off at Kuala Kangsar for a food review...(WARNING Ranting Ahead~) Who the hell suggested that we go to a god forsaken cafe at the OTHER end of Kuala Kangsar in the HOT SUN~!! And in the end I never got to eat anything coz we are damn it running out of time. I was like "We're so dead coz we're LATE"
Anyway the rest of the day was totally the coolest. We played more games and 'Aiyoh Ping Pong Piang' was the best~!! (I get to flour Sandra XD) Then it was performance night and I must say that Fabulosity was the best! Their performance was a short sketch in for different emotions. (Normal, Dramatic, Bimbo, & Sad).
To end it all we did the Algorithm March (trying to Brainwash people to do it XD)
On our last day it was crazy~!! There were the I-need-to-finish-this-video-for-presentation moments...

Crazy fooling around moments...

And High-school-musical-jump moments...(Jaishree looks kinda funny here =P)

Before our goodbyes, we took MORE photos ^^ By now we're officialy camwhores~~

Our cool S's...Sandra and Stanley (too bad I couldn't have Suraya here too)

We're a bunch of Bright, Roving Annoying Teens~!!

Everyone, over the course of BRATs is I had unintentionally said or done something that made you unhappy I am really sorry and I didn't meant it. Honest~!! Cross my heart =D
I really had much fun and really hope that we could keep in touch ^^ To those coming to Cheer 2009, see ya there~!!
